4JC & Fire COVID Procedures 

General Guidelines

If anyone is sick, ask them to stay home

Hand sanitizer needs to be readily available

We will take attendance and temperatures every week as youth show up

  • Attendance will be needed for case contact tracing


We will continue to meet outside, weather permitting. Changes will be announced on LLRC’s page Facebook 

Mask will be optional outside; we will work to maintain physical distancing of 6 ft between people

Students will be asked to bring their own chair and water bottle

We will discontinue nightly snacks; If we are providing food, spacing needs to be a priority


Mask will be required at all times indoors to align with the procedure Norris has implemented

  • Disinfecting sprays/wipes will be used to clean surfaces or equipment before and after meetings

Indoor Meeting locations

  • The Fire will be using the gym for meetings
  • 4JC will meet in the Family Life Center Youth Room
  • We will have group activities in progress as youth show up to promote fellowship while maintaining distancing
  • We will pre-position chairs to promote social distance 
  • We will have a dedicated set of chairs for 4JC and the Fire to avoid cross contamination with other activities
  • Students may be asked to return chairs to stack when finished if they can do it distanced


  • Students will be asked to bring their own water bottle
  • Only water should be brought to the Fire as we will be using the gym
  • Nightly snacks will be discontinued for the time being
  • If we are providing food, spacing needs to be a priority
  • We will ask students to finish snacks in cars prior to entering the building

Bathrooms/Rooms for small groups

  • We will use North wing classrooms only for small group to reduce possible contamination in other parts of the building
  • We will allow students to use both the sets of restrooms in the north Family Life Center addition
  • Students will enter the building via the doors by the youth room (southwest doors to Family Life Center)
  • To reduce possible contamination, we will not unlock doors in the main parking lot or use the restrooms in the main building
